[Klaus does not understand his brother's fascination with this sport, but it's something to keep his brother occupied. He also doesn't understand why he agreed to this in the first place. Something to do with a drinking games and housewives on television (someone is catching up on all the reality television they've missed in the past century). In any case, he's hung over and not in the mood for this. The helmet gets tossed on the ground. This is like an insult, why would he need a helmet, Kol? Your brother is mostly indestructible.

Also it will mess up his hair.]

I prefer to keep it in the family. [Kol head-shaped balls sound fantastic. The pitching machine throws the first ball and his bat makes contact with a metallic CLINK.]

[ kol takes a step back, not even flinching despite feeling ilke he should. he glances to the helmet, the smile forming on his face before he can even think to wipe it off. he's trying to act like the mother hen here, concerned for the safety of her son. or whatever. he's learnt how to take pictures on his iphone, so he really wants one of niklaus wearing a helmet so he can upload it to facebook. ]

Safety, Niklaus! You're only in the little league, so they say. Baby steps and safety.

I have no use for it. [ and he grins, looking at niklaus before turning back and taking a swing. he's not going anywhere, dear brother. ]
